South Asian Journal of Macroeconomics & Public Finance

The publication of the South Asian Journal of Macroeconomics & Public Finance is a significant and ambitious addition to the activities under the RBI Endowment Scheme at CSSSC. The Board of Advisors of this annual consists of distinguished economists from all over the world.

Primary purpose of this publication is to develop an outlet through which interesting macroeconomic events of contemporary India could be analyzed using simple macro–economic and statistical tools. The objective is to provide access to a group of readers who have a basic background in economics, such as undergraduate and post–graduate students, researchers and consultants. While the first part of the volume is devoted entirely to macroeconomic issues, the second part will publish academic research papers encompassing a wide range of topics such as fiscal issues, banking and finance, labor, international trade, econometrics, computational and mathematical methods, etc.

However, for publication in our future issues, papers dealing with topics relevant for the developing countries will be specially welcome. We shall particularly encourage papers on pure and applied economic theory and econometric methods.
